We started because we got sick of it.

BODA did not begin with a fabric. It began with a feeling that something was off. We were doing everything right — filtering our water, reading the labels on our food, swapping the candles and the cookware. But there was one thing pressed against our skin sixteen hours a day that nobody was talking about: our clothes.

The thing nobody warns you about

Most modern activewear is a chemistry experiment you wear. Polyester spun from plastic, water-repellent PFAS, wrinkle-resistant formaldehyde, antimicrobial biocides, and synthetic dyes that can break down into compounds linked to cancer. Many are endocrine disruptors — chemicals that mimic or block your hormones. And clothing is one of the most intimate exposure routes there is.

We were detoxing our entire lives — except the one thing we never took off.

So we built the opposite

BODA is what is left when you strip all of that away. Pure organic cotton and bamboo, certified and traceable, made to move with you. We wrote it down as a promise we could be held to — the Non-Toxic 7.

Why it matters

This was never really about clothing. It is about getting our lives back from a thousand small exposures we never agreed to. We make clean clothes available, and in doing it, we put a little peace back into everyday life.
